Alba Parietti is one of Italy’s hottest actresses, although she got off to a slow start. The Turin-born beauty made her big debut in 1981 with an uncredited role in Miracoloni (1981), had a bit of a pause, then did another uncredited role in Italian Boys (1983). She finally got a credit as Mystyria in the TV series Giallo in 1987, and her first real break when she was cast in the part of Daria in the English-language Italian film Bye Bye Baby starring Carol Alt and Brigitte Nielsen, getting all breathless and partially naked during an against-the-wall sex scene (Alba did, not Brigitte). Thankfully, her career went into full swing after that, and roles in such films as Abbronzatissimi (1991); Saint Tropez, Saint Tropez (1992), and Paparazzi (1998) have been added under her stylish belt—just above her always stylish dark pelt, which is often allowed to soak up sunlight on beaches and flood lights on movie sets. Regardless of the source, that lovely patch of hair attracts photo lenses like little else on this or any other planet, and lucky for the world at large, Alba’s favorite bathing suit is her birthday suit.
